Screamin' Scott's Page WRIF Midnight Metal Monday, April 10, 2006 "LETS GO.......( INSERT DETROIT TEAM HERE) O.K. So we lost the Home opener ........we had the best party in town! The Tigers lost 5-3 to CWS but hey, its the start of a long season try to make some games ,its still great to take a day at the ball park . I also have herd rumbles of still saving the old ball park ....more to come on that. What a great time to be a sports fan in Detroit . 10 days till the NHL playoffs,The Wings are looking good.And 11 days till the NBA playoffs . Pistons look even better. You have to stop and be pretty thankful of our hometown teams ,I know we bitch at the Lions and Tigers ,but we have two other winners in town .With that said ,I can't think of to many major cities that can say that .We are pretty lucky if you ask me . Go Wings, Pistons, Tigers,and yes......LIONS . Dont forget the biggest game in town ,The WRIF Rock girl comp heats up . The Exotic 8 Finals Party is Sat April 15th at the Royal Oak Music Theather. Drew & Mike ,and myself will be on hand with live rock from a Detroit band to really watch out for.....SHIPWRECK UNION .
