Screamin' Scott's Page WRIF Midnight Metal Wednesday, June 21, 2006 "GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND" What could I say to such a good friend I've been with my 9 years with WRIF. I Met Mike Staff way back even before the days of "Z-Rock It was at The RITZ in Roseville with the Riff Staff when I worked there as a Club Jock in between radio gigs. Even back then ,Mike was a class act yourg pup who had everything going for him ,and a blast to hang out with . (from what we remember of the parties at The Ritz. ) The Picture we took here was when I worked at Z-rock and Mike and I was on remote at then PINE KNOB,back when you could bring sleeping bags and Keg's of beer and hangout on the Lawn . In radio at the time ,you hated the other station . (as noted WLLZ's tent was in the picture also.) Mike and I never got into the Politics .....we were friends before and continue to be . We said , "Lets take a crazy picture of you hitting me and me choking you !" It was a fun joke as we look back , the joke now is me the way I look in the picture and Mike having long hair! The years have been good to Mike ,14 years at the Riff,and working with him has been Wonderful.Mike was always there to talk to me about life , the future and any problem I had at the time . Thank you buzzy! Mike will spend his time Fishing,and spending quality time with his wonderful wife Danny and the Kids that are so cute that its sick! Good Luck my Friend in all you do in Life because remember ..... "We're not here for a long time...we're here for a good time....." and glad I had it to spend with you."
